Dr Abdulazeez Alhaji Salau, FIIFP. Is a Distinguished scholar in Business and Entrepreneurship. He had his higher education at the University of Maiduguri and University of Ilorin where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in 2003 and Master’s in 2016 respectively. Obtaining his PhD degree in Business and Entrepreneurship in Kwara State University, Malete, He also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Usmanu Danfodio University Sokoto, which qualifies him as a professional Teacher. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals and an Associate member of the Institute of Co-operative Professionals of Nigeria (ICOPRON). He began his academic career at the Kwara State University as an Associate lecturer with the KWASU School of Business and Governance.
He has won many national academic awards. Among which are the Federal Government Scholarship Award in 2002 and 2003. The prestigious Benue State NYSC merit award by Dr. George Akume in 2016. He was also awarded the Best Tutor in Kwara State cooperative Training Institute, Ilorin in 2013.
Dr Abdulazeez Alhaji Salau is an erudite scholar with over 30 publications in national and international journals. Two of his major works are An assessment of perceptions on entrepreneurship and self-reliance among cooperative societies in Kwara State, Nigeria and Heir’s capability and commitment towards succession in family owned businesses in Lagos state; Moderating effect of founders' plan. He has attended conferences in and outside the country.
