The vision of the college is to be a progressive and distinguished centre emphasizing scientific innovations that contribute to improving the lives of every individual, enhancing the technological advancements in the society for nation building.
The college seeks to translate this vision through preparing distinguished graduates in teaching, training, counselling and scientific research in its undergraduate programmes. It also seeks to become a centre of excellence using scientific research to develop sustainable systems and programmes that meet the needs of the society and enhance its values. It provides practical training from theoretical knowledge.
COICT has undergone resource academic accreditation and has obtained approval from Nigeria University Council (NUC) to run the four programmes:
